We spent a whole morning at the memorial. There was so much to see. We didn't have time to read everything. There were two movies that were very informative. It is a beautiful memorial to honor those who served our country. more

I had never heard of this museum before. Being a history buff, I decided to devote a couple of hours. I took 4 hours and still could have spent more time. My hat's off to the city of Kansas City for their support of this treasure. No federal money here. A truly unique experience that really helps one to appreciate... more

This was my first stop in Kansas City. I had read an article about the museum a few years ago and I kept it in case I ever made it to Kansas City. It is a fantastic museum !!!!! I believe this museum has the most artifacts from World War 1 in the world. There are alot of other reviews... more

Really fascinating museum -- highly recommended. Previous reviews are very accurate, although wouldn't recommend for young children. Would force all our politicians to go see it before sending us into another war. more

WOW! Who knew WWI could be so interesting? It's my understanding that this is the only WWI museum in the United States, which would explain the plethora of artifacts on display. But beside this, the exhibit design and flow of the museum makes it a pleasure to linger and learn. I simply must send out my highest compliments to the... more

A great museum and memorial dedicated to WWI. Enjoyed the interactive parts, bring a camera but avoid using flash, I believe. My favorite part was walking over the Poppies of Flanders Field. It took my husband and I about 4 hours to complete, and we really did get to browse and wander at our leisure. Taking the elevator up the... more

The entrance is beautiful. The poppy field is very moving, as is the rest of the museum. The tower provides a wonderful view of the area. Look for 2 for 1 discount coupons or show them your AAA card for the same discount. The museum is directly across from the Federal Reserve Bank, which is FREE! more

After you visit the Malls (Outdoor and Indoor), Amusement Parks, and all the other fake atmosphere & contrived things to do in KC, bring your family to this museum and give them a real experience.....one that they are actually going to learn something from. Terrific displays housed in a historical building. On a nice day, the view from the top... more

My son and I live in the Kansas City area. We visited this museum on a chilly winter day – I’d seen the reviews and heard that this was a good museum. I would submit that this is a *great* museum! It has an ideal mix of interactive activities, displays and of course, actual weapons and equipment of the time.... more
