Nothing works....it does sort of, if you can find an attendant...If you love history...go for the building its self...its beautiful..to see a train station as it was at the turn of the century...remarkable....and Pierponts.. a beautiful example of an elegant restaraunt of he time.....This is a Kansas City Landmark....to be treasured...for all time.....

Interesting, but they need to add new items all the time for repeat business.

This is a marvelous chance to play with science - you will love this place, your kids will love this place! If you are local - buy a membership & go often! I learn something new every single time we go. Really wonderful place!

Every year my school takes a field trip to Science City. The kids have at all the interactive experiences. Lots to do for kids. Great place to visit.

I took my 7 year old nephew to the America I Am exhibit along with Science City. We go at least once per year. You will find that the tickets are cheaper for each exhibit if you combine Science City with whatever the latest exhibit is at Union Station and there is plenty of time to do both if you... More

Not only was this place completely overpriced but a lot of their equipment was broken. I have been to many science center museums in the United States and this is the worst one by far, especially considering the cost.

Science City at Union Station is a hands-on, inter-active 3-story play area for kids. They can climb, run, dig, water play and observe in many different areas of science discovery. Pre-K kids will love the water table, the playground area and the tunnels with the hidden slide. Older kids enjoy the what I call the "magic area" where their eyes... More

We paid five clams as an add-on to the travelling Titanic exhibit at Union Station, so it was worth the five - but I would have never paid the 10. The atmosphere is open and inviting and its very hands on and interactive, but most if not all the exhibits were the same as they were in 2006 when we... More

We don't have children but even we enjoyed playing around with everything at science city. Kinda expensive, but we had a blast. We did the planetarium too which was pretty neat. Would be a blast for kids.
