The Science Center is great for kids and okay for adults without kids. We went to the night time sky show in the planetarium and were fairly disappointed. You can sit in uncomfortable chairs or lay on thin mats to watch the show. It was less than expected and cost $5 per person. more

This is one of the best places for children of all age ranges in St. Louis. It is absolutely NOT going downhill or too commercialized as previously stated. If you don't want to purchase items from the gift store, then you can easily avoid walking into the store. We love the Discovery room for the younger ones. Parking is free... more

I think the Science Center is becoming too commercial. I recently heard they are putting a Build-A-Dino shop in the museum. Does this mean they will have to let in every commercial establishment that wants to be there. What's next? Discovery Channel Store, Macys? The museum has been heavily renovated and is not as good as it used too be.... more
