The only thing to consider is that this park (as with many urban parks) is a little sketchy after dusk. Next to Forest Park, this is certainly the best (2nd best) park in town.

A great place to spend an afternoon on a nice day. So many great things to see, and many great events throughout the year, including "food truck fridays" during the summer. The only downside is that this area can become a little unsafe at night, so be wary if you're in the park alone after dark.

What a delightful visit. The Victorian Bandstand and covered picnic areas were charming. St. Louis is lucky to have beautiful parks their residents can enjoy.

This is a beautiful park with lots of weekend daytime activity; dodge ball, soccer, etc. Be very careful from dusk to dawn as locals are having issues with young 'gangsters' playing a dangerous game of 'knock-out' whereby someone in a group attacks a pedestrian just for kicks to see what harm they can inflict. I love this park. It is so beautiful. The pavilions are beautiful. The best thing about the park is the diversity. People from all different cultures gather here to socialize, and many times I have happened upon a soccer game in which the players had to be from several different countries.

Tower Grove Park is a great park, of of the oldest in the US, and has lots going on all the time. It is right next to the Missouri Botanical Garden (my vote for #1 in the US). The park is a nice place to take a walk, has plenty of different botanical areas to see, a playground for kids,... More
