In Missouri, I can't make up my mind which park is best - Hawn, Ha Ha Tonka, Sam A. Baker or Meramec State Park.
Meramec State Park offers wild and wonderful swimming, dozens of caves to poke around in, CCC buildings, nice shower houses and camping, on site canoe services and a store, and an informative visitor center. I give...

For camping it is one of the best in the State. Quiet, close to very clean bath house, and has handicapped sites as well. Clean and safe.

There are great hiking trails, beautiful Meramec river runs through the park, a informative visitor center, canoe and kayak rental, weekend evening park ranger lead programs that are great for whole...

I enjoyed the cave tour very much!! It was very interesting to see what nature can do on it's own! Tour guide was very nice and dis a great job on telling us about everything! I would go back for sure! Don't forget to check out the campground!

It was a July weekday, and we had an entire section of the campground to ourselves (well, we did share it with some brazen deer)! It was perfect for us! (Other...
