If you are into western art, the brilliant landscapes, and the way it was at an earlier time. this is the place to visit. The Big Sky of Montana is vividly depicted in the paintings and the history is described in Charles Russell's writings and notes. Wonderful gift shop and original house. Well worth a visit . more

I agree wholeheartedly with reviewer,Docmarx about the excellence of the Charlie Russell Art Museum.In addition to its splendid paintings by Charlie Russell("Rocky Mountain Goat";"Tenderfoot"),there are delightful paintings by Olaf Seltzer,another major American Western painter("Hereford Bull"),a huge collection of gauntlets from numerous indian tribes(Nez Perce,Blackfeet),and a series of paintings by Contemporary Native American,Gary Schildt depicting the customs of the Blackfeet Indian... more
