I grew up in Ogallala, if you like history this is your place. Its nothing super fancy but historical point, there is no up sell on anything its exactly what you see.

Ogallala is Nebrakska's Cowboy Capitol. Lots of history here from cattle drives that came here from Texas to be auctioned off to ranchers to stock the northern ranges. Boot Hill is worth a visit. It was Ogallala's only burying ground during the "end of the trail" period. Check out the "Trail Boss" statue on his horse.
