Take a minute to stop and look while driving through this park. The whole road (# 28) is a beautiful ride around Lake Tahoe. Take your time and enjoy the view!

It's really pretty and nice- looking. We drove around and then frolicked in the water at Sandy Harbor, very nice time. Wanted to swim more, but kinda cold water still...mmm, good!

Easy access to the lake. WE went in September after the crowds and it was very laid back.

I'm sure someone else may have a wonderful experience of the place. The night we were camping there, a couple next to us had a brawl and someone even called the police.

Most of the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe is part of Lake Tahoe – Nevada State Park system. We took the 72 mile drive around the entire lake, it was so beautiful. The Nevada side was more breathing taking if you enjoy the water, it was so blue and then green around the shore line. The CA side was more forest like so if you enjoy the forest you will enjoy this side. Each has it's own beauty... More
