This was my second visit to Fremont Street and although it was a really cold night we still had a good time. Plenty to see and loads of shops to browse and of course, great places to eat. The light show is amazing and def worth a look. Make sure you take a camera!!

I didnt much like down town Vegas didn't feel as safe as the main strip however the light show on the roof was amazing ! especially the we will rock you queen one! worth a visit and wear shorts or trousers so that you can do the zip line !

Fremont Street has something going on all the time. While we were there, 3 different stages had bands performing. There is no shortage of food & beverages to purchase as you meander along taking in all of the sights. Toward evening, street performers show up along the street & entertain for tips.

The lights, shows, sound, food, this place is unlike anything anywhere. What is frightening are the people- they come out of dark places and stroll the place like ghouls on Halloween. Fremont Street is the "old" Las Vegas, a few miles away from the upscale resorts further along the strip. It's well worth a visit, particularly after dark, to experience the excitement and the crowd. Missed it last time we went, so we made a point of going this time. Glad we made the trip out. Got there about 10pm, caught the end of one show, looked around, found some of the tastiest food we had in Vegas (even though we were a little worried about what it would be like), found a big slushie... What makes this so great is its uniqueness. Downtown is worth visiting all by itself, so if you're there at night, you'll see this free show. Win-win. I take all my out-of-town guests to see it.

We visited here three times during a recent Las Vegas business trip. Friday and Saturday nights are the times to go. You will see ALL sorts of "things" much like the midway of a carnival. The zip lines are reasonably priced, and we felt safe the entire time (as opposed to New Orleans)!

Amazing variety of people and street performers. It's a lot of fun to just stroll around.
