Stayed there my last trip to Vegas, and LOVED all 5 days of it!!! First I'll start with my room. I had a "Go" room facing the strip. It was so cool and retro! Very clean and maid service was top notch. Never had 1 issue at all. Check in was quick and friendly. The casino was awesome as well.... more

The only good thing I have to say about this hotel was the location. The rooms were dirty, house keeping didn't come until 4 or 5pm, when you were typically getting ready and didn't want them in the room anyways. Customer service at check in was rude and very short- NOT to mention they charge $100 PER NIGHT of staying... more

I have a problem with not being able to get a drink while gambling. And it's not just here, it's at a lot of casinos in Vegas. I play the slots and cocktail waitresses are few and far between. When I order, they take so long to return, I end up moving on. After arriving at the Flamingo I did... more

I don't know what you consider "best value" but it does have to start with decent and clean. This place was an absolute dump. The pool was half closed (the "slides" were closed) and dirty. The pool chairs are all in disrepair and the rooms were filthy. Even the elevators were gross! My kids immediately said that the road-side Comfort... more

Just got back from an April 2009 stay at the Flamingo. We were looking for something mid Las Vegas strip, medium priced, with a decent pool. Last time I stayed at the Flamingo was with my parents in 1972. We checked in at 2pm on a Saturday. It took about a half hour. On other days when we walked passed... more

Its getting harder to find places for the casual gambler to play. If you are on the strip you have to search very hard. We stayed at the Flamingo 4 days and didn't do any gambling there. We like to play craps, but enjoy it much more when the limit is lower. The Flaming have no $5.00 tables. They had... more

We love this place... we play poker and slots... I have won on the slots. The pool can't be beat for the value of the room. With full service cabanas, to the waterfall grotto, and lots of room for everyone. location is great central location to make walking a reasonable way to see the whole strip. more

While there are plentiful tables and a variety of games, I am disappointed in the casino in that there is a lot of 6:5 paying blackjack in Harrah's casinos (Harrah's, Imperial Palace, Caesar's, Flamingo, Bally's, Paris, etc.) for the lower limits ($5 and $10 generally). This is basically ripping off the casual/recreational player that does not want to wager $15-$25... more

I am not sour. Compare the pay odds at a five dollar slot bet,,,AVG about 4-1 and a .25 or even a .20 bet. try for your self and see the UNFAIR ratio The play we get at Ameristar Council Bluffs has gotten us about a hundred jackpots over a two year time frame. We played Flamingos for 28 total... more

When all the other mega-huge poker rooms were empty, the nice little 16 table room at the Flamingo had a friendly $3/$6 going. Only took about 10 minutes for a seat to open. A mix of locals and fish, had a great time. Since it's a Harrah's property my comps carry on my Total Rewards card. Nice place. more
