Course DescriptionLocated just minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, Silverstone Golf Club's Robert Cupp-designed Valley, Mountain, and Desert nines provide a five-star golf experience for players of all abilities. The third hole on the Mountain nine is the longest hole in Nevada. This par-5 bruiser stretches to 653 yards from the back tees. Length is not the only story at Silverstone, however. Cupp expertly crafted a blend of long and short, medium and longish par 3s and par 4s throughout to go with the great par 5s. The first hole on the Mountain Course, for example, is just 343 yards from the tips. The team at Silverstone works hard to present golfers with stellar conditioning and it shows. This is one of the few Las Vegas golf courses that does not close for over-seeding and does not have any "cart path only" rules throughout the course.Be sure to check out Silverstone's unique 28th hole conveniently located near the clubhouse. Appropriately dubbed the "Decider Hole," no. 28 is available for guests to settle all bets. « less

I recently played Silverstone for the first time in a couple of years. I was very impressed with the overall experience. I had heard the course was in great shape and it did not disappoint. The greens were firm and rolled great! The staff was all very kind and helpful. I really enjoyed my time there and I will be... More

The course has changed ownership 3 times in as many years. Whatever effort they have put forth in improving the course conditions, they have taken from customer service and satisfaction. The general manager has "retired" and is now replaced by the club pro which should tell you a thing about how much emphasis they place on customer relations. In a... More

I played Silverstone Golf Club for the first time in 2 years this weekend. I stopped playing Silverstone about 2 years ago after the course conditions really started to take a dive. Not only did the course take a turn for the worse, so did the staff. I must say that I was completely impressed with the progress the new... More

I am writing this review while still waiting for a cart 20 minutes after my tee time. there is little organization. I have heard that this course books tee times too close together but now have seen it first hand. I will not be returning.

Played here on Sunday, 9/5/10. We booked on golfnow.com for a "reduced" rate of $135 a person. Clubhouse is nice. Staff seemed friendly enough. But, the course conditions weren't all that great. The thing that annoyed me, was that after I paid, I could have sworn that the gentleman behind me checked in and was charged $45. I thought that... More

Played the golf course on 2/15/09 and was very happy with the experience. I booked online and saved about 85 bucks. This included GPS and free warm-up at the range. I come out to Vegas a few times a year from Los Angeles and would definitely play it again. I would have been more critical if I paid 135. The... More

Course is overrated. Am a 4 handicap...Played on 11 Nov 09. Let's start with their supposedly "great" practice range: not enough room for the amount of golfers trying to warm up, no grass to hit from...lots of divot holes...practice balls are like hitting the one's you have had in your garage 10 years ago...hit 5 straight that literally split apart... Not sure what the rant is about this place. We didn't like it at all. I've golfed much nicer courses an hour from my home (Manitoba Canada) than this place. We arrive early (even after a missed turn due to construction and confusing road names) and I had brought my own clubs with me. My partner hadn't but I had... More

Silverstone is a great course located about a half hour from the Strip. We booked online and ended up saving $180! Like most of Vegas and the surrounding areas, there seems to be no problem with public drinking. This worked great for us, as we enjoy sipping on some swing oil throughout our round. Just pick up an 18-pack of... More

Along with three old friends, I have made Silverstone a regular stop during our annual trip to Vegas. I believe we paid what one of the other reviewers quoted, $80, for our twilight round, which included cart, range balls and clubs (Callaways). After bringing my clubs the first year, I've only brought my putter and wedges the last three. Silverstone... More
