I had been wanting to go to the preserve for quite some time and I underprepared for everything they had to offer. We went mid morning between breakfast and lunch and before we had to go do a tour of the Neon Boneyard. I feel like next time we need to plan for at least 4 hours or more so... More

My husband reluctantly agreed to stay in Las Vegas during the May 20th annular eclipse. He is not the Las Vegas kind of guy. I had printed up directions for the Springs Preserve as a possible attraction he might enjoy. He was very pleased. We took a guided archeology tour. Nathan, our guide, was knowledgable and funny. Somehow he impressed... More

For someone who doesn't gamble, a trip to Las Vegas might seem challenging. On a recent visit, we were pleasantly surprised by any number of attractions we never dreamed existed there. Perhaps the most delightful was the Springs Preserve. Centered around the artesian Springs that drew native Americans to the area and later white travelers and settlers, this beautifully-interpreted and... More

The Springs Preserve is MUCH larger than I thought it would be. One can easily spend half a day here. As others have mentioned, there is a botanical garden, the Desert Living Center, the Origen Museum and the Nevada State Museum. I found the museum exhibits to be very engaging and well-done. I'm one of those who is easily bored... More

Have been to Las Vegas about 20 times. This time we stayed at the JW Marriott Resort in Summerlin. UH-LAH-LAH! Since the Preserve is a mere 15 minute drive away...off, we were. And, SO GLAD WE DID! We had a 2 For 1 Coupon which made it even nicer! Parking is free. SO CLEAN...the ENTIRE PRESERVE. A+++. We were off... More

Our first day in Vegas brought unseasonably cool temperatures so the resort pool was out for our young children. My mom, who lives locally, heard good things about this place so we gave it a try. I turned out to be a joy and I would highly recommend this to a family if they find themselves with nothing to do.... More

We decided to visit Springs Preserve based on its website. We had a rental car whilst in Vegas and were keen to do things beyond the Strip. However, as out of state visitors, it cost us $18 each and we ended up leaving after an hour as we were so disappointed...and didn't want to spoil our final day. It is... More

We've been going to the Springs Preserve since it opened as I only now found out that it's free to go walk around the trails, gardens and play areas. Tickets are only required for the two museums. With kids, its not worthwhile to purchase the tickets. Outside ia nice open space for the kids to play and now you can rent... More
