The ad says "Air-conditioned." A sign at the dock says "Boat is 25 degrees cooler than the outside air." it was 110 out, hence 85 inside the (old) boat, plus there were 20 adults with 96.8 body heat X a two hour, bumpy river-ride, with blocked views = an unbearable experience. An enjoyable, hassle-free trip! The boat picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel's dock. We had a nice lunch in LHC and walked around, enjoying the sights. My 24 year old buddy was the one who got me to even consider taking this boat ride . . . I wasn't averse to the idea, but with a short trip, I wouldn't have considered it, much as I have always wanted to see the London Bridge. It cost us $65 dollars each. It was close to our casino... more
We took the tour from Laughlin. All of the staff from the lady in the ticket booth to the pilot of the boat were very friendly, humorous and informative. It is a two hour trip to Lake Havasua (where the London Bridge is located), a two hour layover (with great shopping and eating) and then the two hour trip back.... more
