Now that is has modernized a lot of the charm is gone. Chairs thay go too fast for such a short mountain. Below average skiers and boarders are the prevalent clientele with the Nevada destert crowd mixed in. Boring and crowded.

Had never been to Mt. Rose till this year when my wife daughter and I all got season passes, this last weekend was amazing, love the terrain, they have a little of everything, and something for everyone, lots of beginner terrain, board park, and gotta love the chutes for the expert riders
