We visited the Nevada Art Museum on a Friday Dec., 2009. It is a great building, housing art on three floors. The rrof was closed due to recent snow. The highlight of the visit was the Rembrandt exhibit, showing over 150 of his copper-plate etchings. Priceless. A travelling show from the MFA, Boston. Very nice display of how the copper... more

i encourage everyone who likes to get ripoffed to vist this horrific art museum-they charge $8-you can get a $5 diner at the contrada at the siena hotel- with a joke of apermanent collection the joke is on you if you decide to go here-they got it right on animal ark and the national automobile museum but this was written... more

We'd planned to visit the art museum during a recent trip to Reno, & it turned out my mom's cousin is a member so she took us. We arrived early on a Sunday for the chamber music brunch. It was very popular & had a good group (The String Beings) playing. If you go, get there early as it fills... more
