Something for everone. The natural settings contribute to the viewing and you get a real sense of habitat. Even the Eagle seems regal and at home. We have gone with our daughters school trips and with family. We've also taken the Nature Cruise out on Squam. Every time we're there we all learn something new! It is such a great place and is well laid out. We liked it so much, we became members and will begin volunteering there next week! more

Attractive walking trails and spread-out wildlife exhibits. They have many different wild animals of the region (mostly injured animals they are rehabilitating) with lots of interesting information and interactive exhibits for the kids. Some play spaces too. Very well done nature center - great for kids and grown-ups alike. Nice eco-focus. My kids can't wait to go back every year when we visit Squam Lake on vacation. Part zoo, part museum, beautiful outdoor walking in a natural setting. If you belong to a library (have a pass) it might be honored for admission - ask! more
