Nice variety of art on display. Concerts are a bonus. Great way to spend an afternoon!

We enjoy visiting this museum every few months. The children's discovery area is a small room with activities that change to match the current travelling exhibit. For example, when a rock and roll photography exhibit was on display, there was an activity for kids to create album covers. The museum offers free admission from 10 until noon every Saturday, and... We had our ceremony and wedding here in 2008. and have been back to visit several times. It was great for an event, and I think the museum is amazing for a small city---great place to wander and think, and the cafe and shop are fabulous!

An absolutely terrific museum for its size right in the heart of downtown Manchester! The collection is varied and extensive, and they nearly always have a special exhibit on as well, which is included in the price of admission. The museum also owns Zimmerman House, one of two houses in north Manchester that were designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Take... More

I have never been disappointed with the museum. Each new exhibit is just wonderful. Hope to visit the Zimmerman house sometime also.

Just visited with friends in early March - everyone really enjoyed it! My son is in art school in the mid-west and went back to the Currier to see (again) some of the paintings he learned about in art history - how cool is that?!! If you haven't gone - go see what you've been missing! :)

The Currier has a great permanent collection for such a small city. The building is very nice and the recent addition preserved the good things about the original structure. Wonderful exhibits come and go, offering locals the opportunity to view some of the best art. The cafe area of the building is very nice and a good place to grab... More

We've enjoyed the family art activites they offer in the basement - check their web site. Loved the recent rock photography exhibit. I usually make a look and find page from their art collection web site to hand to my kids so that they have something to focus on as we tour the museum. The building itself is enjoyable to... More
