The auto Road that takes you to the top is right by the entrance to Echo Lake in North Conway. Do yourself a favor and wear sneakers! You have to park and walk up an incline and up and over some rocks. There IS a fence but it is low in some areas and in other areas there is no... more

fortunately, you don't have to climb up the steep face of the Ledge to get to the top. You can cheat by driving on a road situated a short distance behind the precipice. Park you car and you're just a short walking distance away from a truly awesome view. There is fencing almost at the edge, so you can walk... more
