Having visited the Red Hook Brewery in Washington state last year, we were anxious to return to the other location in New England. They offer a beer sampler which allowed us to try all the different varieties including their seasonal beers, and we're glad we did! Lots of great options. It was a great deal for a tour and tasting for $1 but after being on many brewery tours across the country, mainly in Wiscosnin, I was a little disappointed. The tour was great and it was a direct result of our tour guide. Byron really made the tour with his humor. My husband and I took the $1.00 tour of this brewery this week while in Portsmouth. Included with the dollar fee is a 4 oz. souvenir glass and a tasting of six of the Red Hook beers. Tours only run on Monday and Tuesday at 2 p.m. so you may want to plan ahead. The tour is informative, it explains... more
