Whenever we are in the Portsmouth area we visit Redhook. We've been on the tour plenty of times and each time the guide personalizes it based on the group and what you want to know. Considering the number of samples and the free glass you get, the tour is a bargain at $1. The food is pretty decent for what... more

Went on a tour on Tues sept 11 what a waste of time--the tour guide, all he wanted to talk about was his current college days with the younger guys instead of talking about the brewery--better off if they would have a self guided tour. more

A great alternative to the brewery in Portsmouth. Better beer, let us just say quirky locals, decent food, and the outdoor section make it a great place for a group or a romantic get together, or both. more

Redhook has tasty craft brew, pub food and local bands on certain nights. The tour was one of the highlights of our visit, be sure to try the seasonal flavor and sit by the fireplace on the leather couches. Note: this is away from downtown Portsmouth at Pease (the airforce base). more
