Had a chance to take the kids (4 yr old and 2 yr old) and mom to a play at Prescott Park. The Park is owned by the city and is right on the water (see other reviews) but its a truly splendid area with plenty of stuff for the kids to do. The Play was also great - it's... more

I planned for this to be a good "get out of the car and stretch our legs" stop on our recent road trip. This is a gorgeous place to walk around, right on the waterfront. The flowers in the public gardens are amazing!!! Absolutely beautiful!! The people of Portsmouth are so lucky to have such a gem!! more

I visited Prescott Park on a beautiful, sunny day on Labor Day weekend. It is about a 10 minute walk from the bustling center of town. The park has small piers that go out just a bit over the Piscataqua river/Portsmouth harbor with wooden benches to sit on so you can take in the view of the water and the... more
