Summertime is when most families take a vacation. Whether it is in state, out of state or out of the country, attractions of all sorts are found anywhere and everywhere. However, there is one attraction located in a small town of Salem, New Hampshire that attracts thousands of tourists and families each summer. Canobie Lake Park is an amusement park... more

Canobie was opened in 1902 as a Trolley Park-basically the trolley companies worked out a way to get people to spend a nickle on weekends, too. Since then, the ownership has changed hands a few times, and has been made into a viable modern amusement park. In an age when Whalom Park, Pirate's Fun Park (Salisbury Beach), Benson's Animal Farm... more

Canobie Lake Park’s Scream Fest is an amazing Halloween adventure that is much more than just a haunted house and a few rides. The gates open at 4pm. We went on Columbus Day night right at opening, all the rides were open, and the there were absolutely no lines. None. But that’s just a small par of why this is... more

Ok,..maybe not so hidden. You do want to try to go this park during the midweek, and avoid holiday weekends as it can get quite crowded. That said, it is a wonderful park. A very good balance of rides for thrill seekers and younger children. Situated by a lake, nicely landscaped and clean, and generally well maintained. Lived in N.H.... more

Im just back from canobie lake park. Our day time was tough. Traffic jam all the way and long wait times for each rides drove me mad. There is no system of express pass. But as the day progressed rides fell on reasonable time. Might be true with most of them parks. Have to checkout six flags to compare. But... more

There's some things you should know about Canobie Lake park. Since I live about 40 minutes away I want to save out of towners some money and disappointment. Without a doubt, Canobie is one of the worst attractions I've been to. The park is small and has some local charm but in terms of business they are awful. One of... more

Sixx Flaggs should be shut down! to pricey and you spend the whole day in long lines!!! come to Canoby it's... more

This is one of those 'go-every-year' type of attractions for our family. It is alot of fun, but not exactly a well-kept park. I have been going to this amusement park since I was a kid! The roller coaster is the exact same one that I went on 30 years ago! It costs $20 per person after 5PM to go... more

Best amusement park for a toddler with tons of rides!!! He has the most fun here and we have been to Six Flags, Storyland, and Santa's Village. It is in a beautiful setting with at least 8+ toddler specific rides. The train ride was also great and the water park was fun (no toddler area but he had fun splashing... more
