Belmar has a variety of people and areas to go. We like the atmosphere the most. While the beach is deep and roomy, we find the stores and restaurants are why we go to Belmar beach. We also like riding our bikes to main street for a break too. We love Connolly Station and we usually sit on the beach... More

I moved from South Jersey to Staten Island and I could not believe the disgusting beaches there. LBI was the furthest beach I had ever been to before the move so I knew nothing of Belmar. STAY AWAY FROM 13th Ave-20th Ave. Nothing but loud rowdy "tourists"! They ruin the beaches stick to the 2nd Ave.-10th Ave. beaches
