We took the 2-hr morning dolphin cruise. We got a great view of the Cape May shore, but sadly didn't see any dolphins, which the crew said was due to the slightly choppy water following a storm system that passed the night before. As promised, they stamped our tickets and said we could come back another time, even allowing us... More

We went thinking we'd get a nice view of Cape May from the water, a hot dog and a relaxing ride-whale watching, doubtful. Well, no whales on this trip as expected. But, LOTS AND LOTS of dolphins and jelly fish! A fun trip! Go for the scenery and everything else is a plus.

This was our first experience with a whale watching trip, and we loved it! We got knocked around by the boat, and even sprayed with water several times, but it made it all the more memorable! The crew was really nice to us, and we can't wait to go back with the free tickets given to us, due to the... More

We tried to go on this trip but when we got to the ticket booth to purchase tickets and ask about the trip we were meet with a VERY rude lady. We ended up not going and walking away because of her rude additude. I would not recommend these people. We went with a different and much more friendly company... More

This boat tour is well run and well narrated. We were thrilled with the number of dolphins we saw. We knew the whale was a longshot, but they did try to find one. We vaguely wished we had done the 2-hour dolphin tour instead, but it was a nice boat ride on a beautiful day. There is food for sale... More

Great experience on the water with birds, dolphins and WHALES! After some minor mechanical challenges, the very cool crew got us on a different boat before we even set out on the great whale watching adventure. We were rather entertained by a very friendly Fin Back whale and loads of dolphins, not to mention the Captain and Crew of the... More

Saw plenty of dolphins but no whales. Reason was, so much time was used to get to where the dolphins were, then we spent so much time with the dolphins that there wasn't enough time to bring the ship out far enough to see whales. Yes, the dolphins were beautiful and there were many of them but dolphins can be... More

Dear Joanne D, I am sorry that you were very disappointed in our whale and dolphin watch experience. I do find it very interesting your assessment of the reason we did not spot a whale on this particular trip. Being the Captain of the boat, I would like to clarify some misconceptions about whale and dolphin watching out of Cape... More

We vacation in Cape May every year and our trip wouldn't be complete without a trip on Cape May Whale Watcher. We have tried them all on the Cape (and some in AC) and no tour is as great as the Big Red Boat. We love the trip and it is worth every penny. We always see lots of dolphins... More

I read a bunch of different reviews before picking this tour. I was very happy we did. I took my boyfriend for a surprise date and we had a wonderful time!!! Even though the ship was pretty packed we still had plenty of room and enjoyed ourselves. The captain was doing very well spotting the animals and when we saw... More

We went on the 3 hour whale watching tour and didn't see a single whale. We saw a few dolphins pop up from the water three or four times and that was it. It was very disappointing. Furthermore, the boat we were on had hard molded, plastic fixed seating. It was SO uncomfortable to sit on those for 3 hours... More
