The ponds here in the Meadows hold waterfowl in the winter, waders all year 'round, and the open sky is great for watching hawks stream overhead on their way southward. September is arguably the best time to go. We had a day with over 100 falcons passing overhead in a matter of 2 hours. Very cool!
