Took a stroll through campus this weekend and it was gorgeous! Old buildings, beautiful grounds and very peaceful. Wish we had a campus map to better guide us but it was still a nice leisurely stroll. Definitely recommend a stop in if you are in the area! more

The Princeton University Art Museum is a splendid place to study and enjoy art. It has fine Italian Renaissance paintings(Lorenzo Monaco,Ugolino Di Nerio,Fra Angelico,Pinturicchio,Francobiagio),excellent Baroque paintings(Honthorst,Bloemart,David Vinckboons,J. Stella),terrific French paintings(E.J.Vernet,Harpignies,Boudin,Degas,Manet,Monet,Van Gogh)and fine Twentieth Centu ry paintings(Picasso,Modigliani,Nolde,Kandinsky).I spent seven delightful hours there a few days ago. I did not see their American works of art because of time limitations.Personal favorites at... more
