Impressive to see so many animals so closely. The perfect mix is to book some gamedrives and do some drives by your own car as you can drive through the park in your own car

Lots of elephants, kudus, elands, zebras. Definately make a game drive to see even more animals: you take paths that are not accesible by car.

We loved Addo, which was a hightlight of our trip to SA. We spent some time in Cape Town before driving to Addo, because we couldn't make it to Kruger in the time we had. We thought it would be ok, but obviously not the best for a safari. However, it was a great park in its own right and... More

Addo prides itslelf on being authentic, as a result it doesn't import species that hadn't lived there naturally. This means you may not have such a range of wildlife as other more zoo-like game parks.

The park has so many other mammals to see... it takes about 4 hours to cover a good part of the park and roads. Take your time watching the areas around the water holes. There is only one restaurant (north entrance). We get some food at the store and enjoy a great picnic area half way down the park. The... More

We have been to Addo Elephant park a few times and always surprised at how many you get to see on a nice day. Be warned that when it has rained alot or the day before you go and on the day you go that you might not get to see so many. Restuarant could do with some improvement.

Want to see over 90 elephants all at the same time ???. You may be lucky like we were. We arrived at the waterhole just at the right time. Wonderful. Apart from the elephants, there were buffallo, warthog, kudu & many, many more. Well worth a visit.

We stayed at the southern camp Matyholweni and the drive through the park towards main camp and Hapoor was full of game. At Hapoor there was a heard of approx 40-50 Elephants grazing and they were still in the bush the next morning. A great weekend was had by all of our family. Great location , fantastic game spotting and... More
