My host in Frasnchhoek chose this restaurant for me and made the reservation. Even though it was the busy Easter weekend they found room for me. What a treat!! I was greeted by name, and because the sun was shining, able to sit in their beautiful gardens for lunch. The service was amazing - both my server and the Chef... More

We went for lunch at Grand Provence in April '12 and its a right decision. The restaurant locates next to their vine yard under big trees. Close to the restaurant is the art gallery where you can have a look or buy the painting or sculpture back home. If you didn't look for just a snack or an easy going... More

I emailed this place three times to make a reservation for dinner never got a reply and therefore could not try it. Failing to reply to emails is a huge mistake even if fully booked and, as a result, i doubt i'll try and book again! Very poor service and disappointing for such a place like this.

We didn't eat here but wished we'd had time. We were taken to La Grand Provence by our tour guide for wine tasting. The wines are fabulous and we're currently searching for a supplier in the UK. The winery has a restaurant, art gallery, shop and is all set in beautiful grounds. We highly recommend a visit.

We did not dine at Grande Provence but did a wine tasting which was excellent and the staff were very knowledgeable. We felt the wines were on the expensive side given all the other wines we tasted on this trip and the last trip but the quality was high. We also did a walk of the grounds and spent an... More

Amazing evening, great service, lovely setting - we all had the pork main and we all had really dodgy tummies the next day - I was heaving in the bathroom and definitely the worst affected. I almost had to cancel my flight back to Singapore. I really want to think that it was something else, but with us all having... More
