Incredible food. Cheese soufle was out of this world! Amazing. Banana desert excellent.

Very knowledgeable tasting guide; asks about what you like to help decide which wines you should try. I also had lunch in their restaurant -- good range of choices and what I had (twice baked cheddar souffle for starters, followed by warthog loin) was delicious. They also have a nice shop. Beautiful grounds.

This winery was beautiful and had a cool shop and museum, but felt like it was a little too big and slightly pretentious. Very little explaining of wines - kind of felt like the grounds were supposed to "wow" you which meant the staff didn't need to do much else. If you like big wineries, then this is for you.... More

This is a very pretty place and the service was very good. The wines were fairly good, but not quite as good as others to our taste. It is well worth a visit.

Excellent wines, the art gallery is a must for art lovers. Even out of season when some of the other wine farms go into hibernation with poor service and lack of enthusiasm.

We did some wine tasting at La Motte during our trip to Franschhoek. The estate is very beautiful. We were a bit late so we could not do the full tasting, but they let us taste three wines for free. Very professional people and a nice ambiance.

Beautiful setting...menu looked great..had had a big brekky so ddi not eat here
