It was a worth visiting to the fort, especially the views from the roof top, the view of Rakaposhi, Diran, Peak, Golden Peak, Ulter i & Ultar 2.. Thanks Zahir Shah Hunzai.

Small fort but beautifully renovated by Agha Khan foundation. Ask for a guided tour which is included in the entrance ticket price of Rs.100 for Pakistanis. If you are in a group of 10 or more people call them in advance and thy arrange a dinner for Rs.2,500 per head, which includes musical evening on roof top.

It is not easy to get to Karimabad in the Hunza Valley, North of Gilgit but the road is definetly worthe the hassle and the karakorum highway is maybe the most beautiful road I have ever seen.
The Baltit Fort itself is worth the visit but what I enjoyed most was hikking up from the Baltit Fort to the Mountains....
