Broken Saddle is the only place to ride in Santa Fe. We have been several time and Harold is excellent. This is not your usual walk in a line on a horse around a park horse place - it's exciting riding through the hills and canyons just outsides Santa Fe. Exceeded our expectations!! Four of us did the two-hour ride. We had so much fun. Great little place, and the trail we went on was perfect. We live in Santa Fe so it's pretty close to home. Can't wait to go back!!

Harold knows horses and riders, and takes great care of both. He gave excellent instruction and was very safety conscious. The ride went into an adjacent park with lovely views and blooming desert plants. He was very well informed about the botany and geology of the area, and the Tennessee Walkers were a pleasure to ride.

A trail ride with Broken Saddle is an AMAZING experience! Beautiful scenery, surefooted, trustworthy horses and Harold the ranch owner was lovely. Experienced riders can canter and it is an experience not to be missed.
