Some water is diverted into holding tanks overnight to cool so that bathers have control over the water temperature. We have 8 oversized cement tubs; they are private & individual so no swimsuit is required. We also offer wraps and massage. Visit our newly renovated Gift Shop for wonderful gifts & souvenirs. « less

Our visitors from other states always love their intros to the baths, massages and gift shop. The attendants have always been polite and helpful to visitors to the area. After hiking or woodcutting these deep tubs really take the aches out too. I was sorry to find they stopped the old custom of bringing you cold water to drink (so... more

We LOVE locals at the Bath House. Don't forget, Sunday is locals night. Locals get 1/2 OFF a 30 minute bath with proof of local residency. I was sorry to make the decision to discontinue the cups/pitchers of water. However, to ensure the health safety of our guests & employees, the Jemez Springs Bath House has begun implementing new cleaning...

I used to take friends here all the time to show it off. I took some friends and you know what? What a HUGE disappointment! The bathhouse I thought would always be a place of rest and relaxation, the Staff was BEYOND RUDE the ENTIRE time- I actually called EVERYWHERE to rent a room, Just to take a shower as... more

Once again, I had a great afternoon at Jemez Springs Bath House. My wife went with me and we both had the package (mineral bath, herbal blanket wrap and massage). The tubs were together and we were in beds next to each other for the wrap. I had a great deep tissue massage from Shely. A fantastic way to start... more

After a day of hiking around Bandelier, a nice hot mineral bath sounded attractive. It was a bit of haul through the Jemez Mountains, but it was worth it. We saw a lot of elk and deer, the expanse of the Valles Caldera, the alien Soda Dam, and finally the cool little town of Jemez Springs. The mineral bath house... more

Definitely go for the package, which includes a soak in a tub with water from the hot springs, an herbal wrap and a massage for about $95. In Santa Fe, you would pay more than that for just the massage!! The tubs are old, but I think that adds to their charm. There are hot and cold water spiggots, which... more

Visited the Jemez Springs Bath House on a recent weekend visit to Santa Fe and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. While the facilities are definitely historic, the original tubs and building add to the charm and provide an authentic New Mexico experience. The Jemez package (hot bath, herbal wrap and full body massage by Sonia) was excellent and the various treatment... more

This bath house is a wonderfully unique experience in a quaint mountain town, nestled in the red rocks of the southwest. The bath was private, rejuvinating, and great if you like to control your temperature. The wrap was amazing and very theraputic, and essential to maintaining a balanced state of mind and body. Overall a great place! more

On Dec. 26, 2002 my husband Jun and our two kids, Niki and Marty along / my Aunt Jeanne headed for the Jemez Mt. area from my Uncle John's place in Albuquerque. We were interested in seeing the beautiful scenery and also in checking out the hot springs. We'd never seen any up close. We arrived at the bath house... more
