It's and impressive site. We wanted to hike the trail 137 from Battleship Rock to Jemez falls, but the river was so high we didn't get very far before the trail was under water.

This is a nice stop along the Jemez Trail to hike or picnic. There are a number of trails in the area. It is an interesting large rock formation that looks like the bow of a battleship. There are rest rooms and a fee for parking.
Considering that it's only 30 mins out of Albuquerque to get here it's a nice afternoon mountain drive
We didn't spend too much time hiking here but enjoyed seeing the large rock formation. There were quite a few people in the area and the trail was a bit hard to find and follow.
Something most people will pull over to look at. the drive along the route 4 is very scenic.
