Today is July 13, 2009 and we went up today on 4 wheelers. My wife, 17 and 13 year old sons, and I made the trip. We never had a minutes problem and enjoyed to whole trip. The lake is beautiful and we all hiked half way up the mountain behind the lake and threw snow balls. I would HIGHLY... more

I've been up this trail in Jeeps, a full sized Chevy short bed several times, and of course on motorcycles. The trail is a challenge; you should be somewhat experienced before you just head up this trail. What ends up happening is that you meet someone coming the other way. Goose Lake was an amazing experience. I do not recomend taking a full sized vehicle of any kind up the trail. We started the trail in a 99' Dodge Ram, by the time we were back to town we were exhausted. We encountered another crazy man just like ourselves who tried the same thing and ended up having his vehicle... more
