By far the best thing to do in Roswell. The folks at Alien Zone take the whole alien thing tongue planted firmly in cheek as the whole town should. WE visited the Alien Zone in 1999 when it was only open a couple of years. It was used in a Walmart commercial that year and 21st Century Fox came out to buy a lot of items used in the tv series "Roswell." The UFO festival brought George Takai -Mr./Captain Sooloo and "Nelix" to the Area 51 photo opp area... more
Like most of Roswell's alien attractions, this one needs a major facelift. The Area 51 attraction inside the Alien Zone souvenier shop warns you not to enter without paying the entrance fee, however, when we were ready to leave and my niece inquired about it, we were offered to enter for free.
