10k feet high great views. With good snow this made our trip memorable. They just got hit with snow before we got there and we were able to take amazing group pictures.

Skiing is the thing here and if you are one of the lucky ones who can actually ski this is the place. It has a lodge to eat or you can carry in a picnic...kids have an area to ski and there are lessons available. Beautiful scene!

Due to the warmer than usual weather the snow was mostly man-made. On the lower elevations, where new skiers were, it was slushy in parts. The higher up on the mountain the better the snow. I can't complain we skied in ski pants and t-shirts and we comfortable. Maybe next year they will get more snow, but as for this... More

Skiis, poles, and boots ran about $23 - but the lift is what gets you. Pay for the lift and experience the fun of skiing - otherwise you'll be dragging your stuff up the mountain. The restrooms was the worst part of the trip - tiny stalls in one and horrible smells in the other (it is like an indoor... More

My family and I went over Spring Break 2012. I would suggest that you avoid this time if you are a beginner as the lift lines are long and the beginner slopes were very crowded. It was not so crowded on the more advanced slopes. Us 1st timers already want to go back during a non-peak time for additional practice.... More

Ski Apache is a medium size ski resort with minimal amenities. You can get food, rent equipment/gear, and ski for a reasonable price. There is no lodging directly at the resort, and the drive up the mountain can be treacherous if there is snow/ice on the road. The skiing is good for beginners and your average skier, but the resort... More

Long lines to get lift tickets and equipment -- Huge lines just to return equipment. Operators were friendly but inefficient.

My wife and I left the kids at home over President's Day Weekend to ski Apache. It had been almost 30 years since I was there as middle schooler, and my memories were not great. I remembered it very crowdy and an unfriendly staff. I did not have high hopes, but really wanted an extra weekend of skiing close to... More

THey make snow there so there was enough for us to ski. THe weather got into the 50s so it was nice and warm. THe lodge was not as nice as I thought it would be but that's not why we were there. All in all it was a fun time and I look forward to going back.
