Paa-Ko is the most breath taking course I have ever played. Most fairways are a bit narrow, but the challenge doesn't take away from the beauty or experience of playing the finest course in NM. The other top course may compare in beauty to any here, but Paa-ko's elevated tee boxes that place you over very tall pines can't be... More

Reviews are correct. This is a very difficult and frustrating course. It will challenge the most experience golfer. I can't imagine being inexperience and playing this course. You'll either walk away much better than when you came or you'll give the game up altogether! Take lots of balls and don't expect to find any that you lose. Fees are good... More

I have played this golf course while on vacation several times. As an upscale daily fee course, you can get a tee time with just a phone call. It is always in great condition. The vistas are beautiful. The pace of play is about 4.75 hours. No wonder the course is ranked #1 in New Mexico.

Winding through the mountain, Paako Ridge is a really pretty golf course. It is also a fairly difficult golf course. I can't remember what the slop rating is but relief is rare if you miss the fairway. The rough is thick but most fairways are lined my native brush and trees and if you hit it in there it is... More

The course was totally awesome. Views were fantastic! Very challenging. The course is kept in great condition also. Food was great in the snack bar too! Put this course on the top of your list while in the area.

Wow! What a beautiful course! Love to see a PGA tournament played here altho managing the spectators would be difficult as walking the course is challenging. The staff was very nice. The views were incredible! The course is tough so bring your sense of humor! This has to be our top high mountain desert course!

The course was good but compared to the other courses we played in Ariz and NM, it was overpriced. Oh well, we're glad we went and the course was perfectly manicured, etc., just not a great bargain (which I like).

...and I hate it. Totally ridiculous greens and fairways. Poorly designed. But golfers are 50/50 on this place. I don't get it. Carnival golf at its worst, IMO. Beautiful place though

This is, undoubtedly, a very very beautiful course. However, I have to warn you that we had the most miserable experience there yesterday. We played a sundowner, were told to start at #10, then go to the new course starting at #19. When the sun was setting, about hole #24, we headed back to the clubhouse only to find the... More
