“Unique house built by Fechin”

The hand carved (by Fechin) wood work and the Russian design elements make the house unique. The art collection is small but engaging.

“Great Taos style home and nice art to view”

Just back from main road but worth a stop. Free to locals on Sunday. Nice architecture and art and more so when they have a hosted art show.

or go it alone. It's not worth being hurried up by someone who doesn't appreciate the reflection on how the inhabitants used this place decades ago. Beautiful! The gift shop has much to offer also. Bought lots of books and stuff.

on a chilly December afternoon near Christmas, we wondered along the streets to the Fechin Museum and had the place literally to ourselves. If you like art, his work is incredible.

The Fechin house is the home of Nicolai Fechin, a Russian born artist who settled in Taos. The beautifully preserved house holds his and other artist's work.

incredible eye for portraits, he built the house of adobe, and his studio is out back. best museum in town by far!
