The house that Nicolai Fechin built in early 20th century is a stunning masterpiece, a combination of old and new world. It's a lovely setting for the Taos Art Museum. This is a fascinating opportunity to look at the work of a group of painters who came to Taos because of its extraordinary light and sky. Excellent gift shop. Very...

As other reviewers have written, the house here is the real star. Beautiful woodwork, lovely setting. The art is fine (although the collection at the Harwood museum is better), but wandering through the house makes it worthwhile.
