Just returned after a 12 day Okavango Delta/Chobe/Vic Falls trip and had a great time. But there are some things I wish I knew before I went, so I decided to write a review. I was also a little freaked out by the reviews on here and had a hard time figuring out what was valid. I'll split it up... More

My husband and I just got back from a 10 day safari with Livingstone Trails. We had a fantastic time. I was concerned at first after reading some of the reviews, but it was better than I expected. The trip was exactly as advertised. Some of the negative reviews blamed Livingstone Trails for things that were not their responsiblilty. Passport... More

I actually went on this tour last May 2010 and had the most amazing time of my life. David was out tour guide. He made the trip what it was. The group I traveled with was fun and interesting as well. I think thats what made the whole experience. Everyone helped cleaning, cooking, dished, packing up, and unpacking together. When... More

I was unfortunate enough to be involved in an accident (the driver fell asleep) in a Livingstone Trails tour bus. Accidents do happen, but their response was terrible. It was over 6 hours after the accident before any member of the company even tried to track the passengers from the accident, and even then, it was the understandably traumatised driver... More

The company doesn't care about customer, and if you complain, they might just hang up on you, like they did to me... money money money... so it really depends on the guide you travel with, the first one with had, David, was charming and was really doing the best he could possibly do to accommodate everyone. The second one, Sydney,... More

Just come back from a 4 day safari in the Kruger Park with Livingstone Trails. We knew it was a budget safari and so didn't expect the luxury of a top price trip. But all the guides we had were excellent, friendly, helpful and flexible. We couldn't have seen more animals than we did even if we had paid luxury... More

After doing a 3 day Kruger safari tour in December 2008 which we thought was amazing... loved Timbavati, saw the big 5, loved the sites we stopped off at en route like God's Window and The Three Rondavels, we decided to book ourselves on another tour last year. In September 2009 we did the 5 day Johannesburg to Victoria Falls... More

Traveled with LT over Christmas 2009. Family of two adults and one eleven year old daughter travelling to Chobe/Vic Falls, then another leg to Kruger. The distances we covered were quite large, requiring long drives and early mornings, but it was helped greatly by having good people looking after us . We would like in particular to thank Andre who... More

I booked the trip with livingstone trail before read some negative feedback, I was worried about my choose, but the reality is different, maybe l.t. is not the best tour operator, some things should be better, for example the sleepingbags not clean, they don't answer a some e-mail, but at the least the trip is beautiful, no frills, ok, but...
