Don't miss this attraction-a fine internationally respected Botanical Garden for scientists and plant geeks, but also for families and children. A very welcoming children's garden and seasonal exhibits throughout the year. Currently the Monet exhibit in the Conservatory.

The next time you feel like stretching your legs come to the NY Botanical Gardens, especially now that they have the Monet exhibit based on the gardens of Giverny outside of Paris and which inspired the artist to paint those most famous water lilies. Planted both inside and out these floral arraignments are living paintings worthy of Monet. Bring your... More

This has become an annual event for my family. We had a wonderful time!! We learned to play croquet, my daughter flew a kite, we played frisbee. They had arts and crafts for the kids, and my daughter made a bird in a nest . The Ice Cream and Ices were great. The music was good. We laughed, played and... More

The children's gardens are a great place to take school aged kids. Lots of fun activities and a nearby picnic area for taking a break. The rose garden in May, bloomed 3 weeks early this year according to the tour guide. Take the tram it's worth the long wait in line. The whole garden is 100's of acres and it's... More

It is a long subway ride to the New York Botanical Garden, including a down hill slog, but worth it. The garden is large but navigable using the tram that is available with the higher priced ticket. On the tram you can learn the history and special places in the graden, getting on and off as you wish. We took... More

The areas are very well kept some areas have weeds and need keeping, but in general its a great place to visit. The bonsai's, the tropical climate and the vegetable garden for kids were beautiful. In general its a great place to visit just to hang out or even just to be with someone to get away from the city... More

My grandkids loved riding on the "train" around the grounds. Fun kid nature walks, magnificent hot house exhibit that transports you to different climates and. Gorgeous Christmas exhibit with miniature trains traveling through the NY landscape all made of natural materials.
