The ski resort has 29 decent slopes and within 45 minutes of Erie. My buddies and I go for weeknight evening skiing and then out for wings at the French Creek Tavern.

It's been a poor winter for making the drive from Ohio to the slopes of the Peek in western NY, but decided that if we didn't go Prez Day, we might not have another chance. Our expectations were that the conditions would be icy with bare spots here and there due to the freezing/thawing/rainy weather we've had. The new management... More

The slopes were perfect for a family with children. We paid for individual lessons, which were well worth it. It was crowded but the lines were short and moved quickly.

Apparently the condominium rooms are newer and nicer. The hotel's main benefit is the convenience to the ski runs and the other amenities like the pool and restaurants. We had a... More

I took Girl Scouts skiing here for years great for all ages because they give lessons and have a bunny slope for all beginners. They do serve food at the lodge but you can also bring your own sack lunches. If you have a group somtimes you can get separate rooms for just your group but you must reserve early.... More

Expensive lift tickets and a weird main lodge set up. Decent snow and it's convenient to the Midwest flatland so I guess it's the best you can get for the region

We stayed in a condo rented from an owner at the top of the resort. The maintenance staff was very helpful and ended up towing our vehicle up the hill after ice and snow blanketed the resort on our way in. If you don't ski, there is a pool and spa, but the pool was expensive to use at $12... More
