Tour was interesting. But the decor of the wine tasting room is slightly cheap and old looking. Wine was decent tho!

This is a lovely winery and the first in the region but we found most of the wines to be good but found better elsewhere. They did have a lovely cab franc.

This was one of my favorite tastings. We really learned a lot about each wine we tasted. Each wine was more complex than the next. I just wish they had some kind of pallet cleanser. Other than that really good!

The Hargrave's started the explosive growth of wineries on the North Fork of Long Island. Their vines are the oldest and mature. Their wines, and now the wines of Castello di Borghese, are excellent and not to be missed.

Not only does Marco Borghese make great wines but for the price of a case he had an artist paint a wedding message on each individual bottle. Every bottle was hand painted with wedding doves or a bell etc...,the couples names and wedding dates and the individual bottles were wrapped and ribboned. Fabulous wedding present that the couple can cherish... More

My wife and I visited half a dozen vineyards during our stay in North Fork, and Castello di Borghese was by far our favorite. Our tour guide (Marco) was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, displaying graciousness when asked ridiculous questions (i.e. when a wine has top notes of apple and pear, is it because apples and pears were added to the... Our experience at Castello di Borghese was amazing. The man helping us was very knowldgeable of his product and was able to suggest a tasting to suit us. In between talking about our tasting choices, he was very personable and made the experience wonderful.

We had planned lunch and a group tasting with specific wines at Castello di Borghese because I knew my parties likes and dislikes as well as being very familiar with all Long Island wines. We were running late (around 20 minutes) and left them a VM to let them know we were running late. When we got their we were... More
