It was well worth the price of admission to tour the Boscobel House and Gardens on a beautiful spring day. The flowers in bloom were gorgeous and the views of the river were breathtaking. The house tour itself was led by a very able guide and was well worth doing.

Cold Spring is a small charming village, just north of Cortlandt - not far from West Point. This area is full of historical sites and Boscobel offers a nice mix of history and nature. The mansion is gorgeous (can't take photos inside though) and the gardens are absolutely beatiful.

Been going back to Boscobel for years. It houses the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Company and is a beautiful site to visit and have picnics and enjoy the garden and Home (Nice Gift Shop as well)..Musical Concerts are also presented (with a dancefloor some evenings) and they are tops!
