great for kids of all ages...plenty of fun things to do from snow tubing, to archery, hiking and rock climbing. And the free hot chocolate doesn't hurt!

Been going to Bellayre for over 50 years. Skied there as a teenager, and our daughters took their first (and many more) ski lessons on the mountain. Good family ski destination - fewer party-people on the slopes than the fancier places. Many physical improvements over the years, keeping up with technology but not leading it. A nice mountain for those not looking for large crowds. It is a pretty small mountain, but very nice and relaxing.

Blues are perfect for tr novice. Greens are green everywhere. Nice big mountain with long runs and moguls for skiers. Mid mtn lodge and lower as well. It's... More

Hunter is more challenging, but for families, this mountain is friendlier. It is probably the crowd that is drawn by this mountain compared to others that make it more appropriate for families with young children. The lower part of the mountain is segregated from the main area so it is less likely that out of control skiers and snow boarders... More

This ski resort is a great place for beginners. The lower part of the mountain is ideal for beginners. The upper part is not so good for skiing. When you get off the lift at the top of the mountain you have a very long catwalk to traverse to get to most of the trails. There are only a couple... More

Skiing at Belleayre was the second time I have ever skiied. My first time was at Shawnee in the Poconos the year before. As this was a snowless winter, there was only man-made snow on the trails, but it was pretty decent. Not too many icy spots. For a beginner, there are plenty of green and blue trails. I skiied...
