The sand dunes in Sossusvlei are so beautiful! I booked my travels through Crazy Kudus/Wild Dogs safari. They were so professional and did a fantastic job in organizing the tour. I visited Sossusvlei a few years ago and it's definitely one of those places that if you visit you will remember for the rest of your life, It's a tranquil place where you can get away from yourself despite the crowds, has some great scenery and the most amazing sunrise i've ever seen. Having arrived very early in the morning in the namib desert, our guide asked us to climb dune 45 ! 295m at its highest point in the middle of the Namib desert at sossusvlei, the climb took around 1/2 an hour only but in sand very hard going as the others in the group turned back because of the height... more
