My first complaint was we were charged full price admission when not all of the advertised attractions were up and running. That being said it is a piece of must see history.

If you liked Last of the Mohicans, check out the actual fort. Great location at the bottom of Lake George

The guide was very authentic, the stories were fun and the explosive grenade, flintlock and cannon really "blew me away"

The museum here is fun for the family. They do a bit of reenactment, you can see period clothing and artillery, hear about the battles fought here, and TAPS came and found some interesting ghost activity, as do most visitors. The hotel was very Grand back in the day, now it's a fairly typical "Resort", with a pretty view. Just... More

This is the perfect place for children ages 7 to 14. They are just becoming aware of some of the local history and this place makes it seem more real.

Wonderful tour....our guide was very knowledgeable and painted an interesting picture of pre-revolutionary life in the colonies. Glad we hung around for the tour!

We were at the Fort for labor day weekend. It was a small fort and since it is privately owned, the entrance ticket is pricy. the fort has been renovated and looks kinda fake. the gift shop is pretty big. the stuffed animals in the entrance of the gift shop are smelly and ugly and very dirty. the staff inside...
