With all the independent shops run by local artists themselves, the Adirondack Crafts Center seems like a terribly redundant white elephant. With notables like Ralph Kylloe, Richard Fortune, and Terry and Sue Young running their own galleries/studios in nearby, towns, this place seems terribly redundant, and sorely lacking in original merchandise.
