We had a blast. the guide Kevin was just great. he was funny, knowledgeable, and great with the kids. I would recommend this to anyone, it was geared for a variety of audiences.

Took our dad for father's day a couple years ago. It was really cool to learn about the history of the lockes and the caves and how they worked.

Historic Caves were once part of the underground railroad. It is always 50 degrees in the caves, so bring a sweater or light jacket. The boat ride is fun for people of all ages. Stalagmites formed over years add to the thrill of this inexpensive hour long tour.

Great tour of the underground tunnels. A rare look into the industrial history of Lockport with an underground boat tour and unusual walking tour in the depths of manufacturing factories of long ago. You also get a tour of the locks so if you're interested in any of this it is well worth a stop.

The tour guide made it! I was fooled, time and again, with his "facts", (then the truth) about the cave. We had a group of about 15 and were allowed questions. It was a different and unusual thing to see. If you're claustrophobic, I wouldn't advise it, as you are underground. Bring a sweater and wear sneakers: photos are allowed.... More

Learned a lot about the lock area and its history. Our guide was great! We spent about 45 mins before our tour watching boats go through the locks - so cool! Only about 25 mins from Buffalo and worth the trip!
