Looking for something different to do? This sculpture park offers interesting sculptures in a nice outdoor setting overlooking Roosevelt Island and the Upper East side of Manhattan. The installations change so it is always nice to revisit and check out the new themes.

Sometimes the par had good sculptur shows but not often, great views of the Manhattan and in the summer some nights they have free concerts and screening. But don't left anything out of your visit to NYC to come this far and be disappointed.

If you are going to the Noguchi Museum, and it is a nice day out, it's worth going here. There is always interesting art on display on the grounds, the views of Manhattan are stunning, and it's FREE!

This is sort of a monument to the folly of government support of the arts without applying standards of any kind. The place shows quite a lot of outdoor sculpture, mostly pretty bad although a lot of it very large.

In many human endeavours there is a Pyramid of Participation. At the top of the pyramid are a small number of elite, super-talented individuals. Farther down is a larger group of talented enthusiasts who just might make it to the top one day.
